New Tax Credit award

OMG!!!!

I phoned them the other day to tell them about my change in estimated annual income as I am going back work on Monday, and also to tell them about the childcare costs.

I earn a good wage (24k), so wasn't expecting any help at all with childcare, but because this years estimated income will only be about £14 due to maternity leave, they say we are entitled to a further £1162.92 for the remainder of the financial year!!! So they are putting £391.80 in my bank account tomorrow and then £385.56 every 4 weeks until April!!! I only get £56 a month at the minute!!!
It'll all stop in April, but it means I can pay for Kayleigh's schooltrip to Germany outright tomorrow!!!

Wow thats great news!

Problem is you get used to it being there after a month or 2.

Better in your pocket than theirs!!
