| Im quite lucky were i live because we have these bargain freezer shops where the factory rejects are sent, and its just stuff like chicken nuggets that are stuck together, products where the packaging has overlapped ect.
Plus i like the pound shop, you can land on a great bargain in there.
I also shop with my mum some times and we go halfs on the buy one get one free offers.
I find that the supermarket is cheaper for fruit and veg, but the amount of different meals you can get out of a large bag of spuds is impressive, like jacket spuds, shepards pie, mash (with sausage and beans for the kids), roaster with mince and onion gravy.
I also buy alot of cheap ceriel, they are good for breakfast and supper and we can make rice crispy cakes or cornflake cakes. |
