Credit card fraud

Omg! My credit card company just called me to say my credit card has been copied!!! They mentioned to me a couple of transactions that had been made in the last day for X amount of money, which I didn't make. OMG! This is crazy.

Anyway I don't have to pay anything for that, but it is quite scary isn't it?!

Oh no...it's awful isn't it? That happened to me - someone spent £800 on mine and it took them about 9 months to sort it out (during which time I wasn't allowed to use my card but they were charging me interest and late payment charges on the payments I didn't make). Hope they sort it out quickly for you x x

Ryan's Gran got her cards stolen last week. Someone from the bank called her later to say that the person had been caught in the bank using her cards, asked her for details and said that the police would be there soon. .. Except that it wasn't someone from the bank, and they've now taken all her money. I'm really scared that this type of thing seems to be happening a lot recently. x

Yeah - Was it definately the credit card company that called ? - there's a lot of these scams going on where people get all of your info by pretending they are the bank/CC comp.
