As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine took only about a week at the very most. I was told it could take 6 weeks because of a backlog but it's the fastest thing I've ever known them to process and I think a lot of people have had the same experience. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yes, you can only get the grant if you are on benefits or are on the higher rate of child tax credits than the family element (£545 per year, or £1090 per year if you have a baby aged under one) You can apply while you are pregnant or up until 3 months after baby is born - I applied after baby was born as my husband was out of work for a while & I am receiving maternity pay - our tax credits went up so we were entitled to it at the time - it took about 2 weeks (maybe sooner) from the date I posted the form off for it to be put into my bank. |
