This morning I got a call from my sister at 8:30am and she was crying hysterically. My moms quaker parrot who she's had almost 5 years had his beak bitten off by one of the larger birds. I don't even want to tell you the names I called him. He's attacked one of the birds almost biting her toes off. The little ******* needs to go.


I am so sad and choked and so worried they might not be able to re-attach the beak. Nearly the whole thing is gone. he's the best little bird and i just pray everything turns out. If they do try to reattach it they will have to do expensive surgery.

please pray for my mom and for little seymore they really need it

well i just got word on him and they can't reattach the beak it's dead so my parents have to learn how to feed him with a syringe and mush up his food. but there's a chance he could still die We've had him the longest out of the birds and he's such a fun, chatty little bird. i am going to be so heartbroken if he doesn't make it

I am so sorry hunni. im a huge animal lover and i hate to think or one hurt. Hopefully he will make it and if he does (which im sure he will) he will get used to not having a beak and the way he is fed. hey he may even love all the attention he gets from feeding time chin up hunni. And come on birdie you can make it
