my problems to date

Hi all again

ok some of you now from the last forum what i was going through so will just re cap on whats happned and whats going on at the mo!!

Ok were in a private let house and have been for 2 years now. last friday we got a phone call saying we are being evicted on the 25th of this month only leaving us 24 days to find a house get packed and be out.
We went to the housing on monday and they were as useless as a chocolate fireguard

Anyways we are supposed to be given an answer on monday 11th to see if we have been accepted for homelessness but i just got a gut feeling they will turn us down like the last time

On thursday afternoon we had 2 guys in suits come to the door demanding £1,500 wich they were told if the tree out the back dont have it growing yet then they can go fourth and multiply as a result of this our bankrupcy is finally going through only thing is i will have to be faced with them guys again in tehnext 14 days wanting to attatch any of our stuff ie, t.v beds units ect but they cant touch it because its all mine and its only OH thats going bankrupt as all teh debt is in his name

still stressing as we still havent got another place to go yet and time is ticking on so hopefully monday they should have made thier minds up and offer us a house asap!!

thanks for reading

Wow that must be soo stressful for you! i couldnt imagine going through all that!

Rob had a letter through two years ago about some money that was owed to littlewoods (long story short his mum bought stuff through his name and never paid him so he refused to pay) and they were going to take court action.
That was enough to scare me to not get into money troubles, or at least avoid them as much as i can.

It all got sorted, they found out we couldnt pay so just wrote it off.

I'm sure by law that notice is too short!

Ring CAB hun! (?)

Debt are a nightmare I recently had a panic - Would you believe NTL left my phone services on in an old property & the bill hit £1500 (another £500 to add) an I got hit with a debt collecters bill HERE - Oh an erm until I rang NTL they STILL had the phone on yet it was in 'servere debt'! I wrote letters off to NTL & the debt company & it appears to have been wiped with NO answer from NTL! Cheek!

Guessing you had already paid your rent before they told you too?

Tbh hun I'd keep your w indows closed an your door locked! The debt guys can't force entry to your home if your worried - Even though debt not in your name!

*Hugs* how pants for you

the £1,500 is from BSM my OH went self employed as a driving instructor thinking it would be good and work as ong as your coul, big mistake bsm got you your clients but he was only getting 12 a week and having to pay £400 frinchaise fees straight off he was left withabout £30 so he stopped doing it and got a proper job again. He got a letter from bsm stating hewould have to pay the £1,500 as he didnt work 4 weeks nottice and if he didnt pay he would be taken to court. We went to seek advice from the council called money matters and they told us not to goto court and this is what hasresolved through it all. On top of all theother debt and the rent for this house and his wages we haveabout £3 to buy food nappies and milk wasnt possible so money matters told us to go bankrupt so its wave bye bye to all thedebt and start a fresh and i swear no more debt again!!!...lol

its been a nightmare and will be so glad when its all over and we have our own little council house

xxxxxxx

Your not alone hun *Hugs*

I'm just building my credit & paying odd debts with a big black mark over my name. All adds up don't it before you know it & circumstances wise never helps. Most if not all of my debts come from splitting with my ex I just couldn;t fin my feet or even cared what was next! I had an attachment to my wages too from the council tax but all fair I owed it! THAT however is flaming disgraceful! Would the courts not help your circumstances (mi. payment plan) Awful

Ohhhhhh thats good - I'd of said don't bother flaming paying it!! That is short notice though - Would you consider contacting the CAB for your rights?
