This may sound crass and very difficult to do but all the people who don't say anything might as well be beating her themselves. I've been on many sides of this and after watching things turn out everytime I still stand by it. If it were a child being abused we all know we would say something NOW. I know she is an adult woman but people can't always do what is best for themselves. I hate to hear people say after the fact when someone has been hurt or killed that "I wish I'd said something" Just my two cents though.
