Some are lil s**ts. Was watchin Fire Detective's on Tv 2nite and was shocked to watch kids aged 10/11 chuckin fireworks and bricks at firefighters!!I mean WTF!! I said to OH if i ever found out that either of my two had done anythin like that when they grow up i will personnally kick there little arse's!! Sorry to sound harsh but SOME kids nowadays get away with murder- don't wanna sound like an old fart (only20) but i'm sure things weren't like this 5/10 years ago when i was growin up-How times change! x

The problem is that there are so many parents out there that don't seem to care what their kids are doing, as long as they are out of the house. I have seen 10-11 year olds outside VERY late at night (like midnight!!) in my neighborhood.

Oh ! sorry to hear that. How can they behave like that ? Don't they live with their parents ? Maybe you can talk to their parents. I don't know really, or report the police.
Anyway, i hope this problem will go away soon.

What the hell is wrong with them?

Seriously,I'm not for hitting kids but they deserve a huge slap in the face for that! Putting a child in danger? They are taking this to a whole new level...

God,they deserve jail! And where the hell did they learn to throw around racist comments? Who raised these kids?!

OH and I agree that at the first sign of Pierre doing anything like that and he's going to boarding school! I don't even like the idea of him hanging around in the street.

You shouldn't have to deal with that at all!! HAve you been in touch with the Anti Social Behaviour Police Officer for your local division? I'm worried that the people who CAN do something about this don't know what's going on. Is it the council who told you to make a list of the disturbances? Your immediate area have regular meetings to discuss the troublesome young people (calles ASBAG - anti social behaviour action group) they discuss reported incidents and look at what can be done. The group is made up of social workers, Youth Offending, Police, Education, Council - the idea being that once service can go in and offer the kids something like a Prevention programme (alledgedly to prevent further offending and tackling the possible reasons for their behaviour.... help getting into college, linking in to local leisure facilities, sorting out a free pass for activities...)..... of course, not all young people will be 'turned around'.

If the Police know names they can start to keep a close eye on them, being generally annoying to them by approaching them regularly, stopping and searching them and letting them know they are being watched. I hope your local officers are supportive!!!

Failing that the Police and council (if they are tennants) will monitor each incidence of anti social behaviour and make a case for them to get an ASBO (order), of which conditions will be not to cause harrassment, alarm, or distress - so the minute they go near you the POlice will arrest them and they will be put before a youth court the next day. The ONLY option a magistrate has is to fine or imprison. Some youths may see an ASBO as a 'badge of honour'..... but they cant STAND the rules of where to go, who they can see....

At 'least' having the racial angle on their behaviour, the Police will come down on them VERY heavilly and the punishments for racial offences are always double or triple at court......

Failing all of that, I'd take the offer of the harpoon gun!!!!

You shouldn't have to go throught this!!! Little turnips!

p.s. the fact they are telling you NOT to call the Police means they DONT WANT the police involved, they may be a reason for that..... like already on a probation order, on bail conditions not to be in the area or out at night......

It must feel like a big risk, but short of handing out your own justice, it really is the best!
