Jobseekers

If i had a job, then gave in my notice to leave and moved house can i go onto jobseekers at the new place or would i need to find a job again asap?

I would ask at the jobcentre but our one is full of morons.

Hope i explained that right.

I asked my advisor today about it, she says that moving house should be a good enough reason to go back onto jobseekers but if not then we weill be entitled to a hardship fund
