I'm Currently Feeling: | Nice MILs? I am sorry to see so many of you are having a lot of issues with your smartass mother in laws.
I just wanted to see if anyone actually has a nice MIL who is a normal, understanding human being. I am very thankful I do. She is a great woman, never interferes with anything, and she knows how much I adore her son.
Anyone with me? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My MIL is very nice, yes there are times when I think 'Ahhhh' at something or something annoys me but I know for a fact that its sometimes the same with my OH with my own mum!
Both my Mum and OH's mum are very kind & considerate and I know they'd go out of their way for the 3 of us! I think everyone at some point has a moment with their MIL.........
My mum was staying with us one weekend and chris was getting Noah dressed he popped out of the room for a sec leaving Noah with my mum and when he came back my mum had changed his socks cos 'They didn't match!' Chris just bit his tounge!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have a nice mother in law (not married to OH but still think of her as MIL), think she is nicer to me because I lost my own mother a couple of years ago. | | | | Status: Offline

| My (well future) MIL does some very nice things for us and can be very generous but at the same time, she can be a bitch to me at times. Shes quite a tough woman and a little harsher than im used to.. so a big difference for me. Also we live with her, so that makes it harder, especially when she thinks im stealing her son from her (she told me this lol). Im sure once we move out of her house things will be a lot better. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm afraid this time Aqua I'm not with you I agree there must be a hugeeeeee number of mil's who must be brilliant but mine takes the biscuit, this was the woman who 18 years ago arranged my wedding without me picking anything apart from my dress! I hasten to add she wouldnt do it now but it did lay the groundwork for our relationship! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have a great MIL, her MIL was such a bitch to her (still is actually, didn't know a 75 year old woman could be so poisonous) that she makes sure she doesn't interfere with me!!
Saying that we have our conversations based around my bad Italian and worse Spanish and her sketchy English.. so there's not much chance for arguements!
I guess the only time she gets on my nerves is a cultural thing.. as DH grew up in a half Mexican half Italian family he's not expected to do anything, him and his brother revert to spoilt 8 year olds when his Mum and SIL (also Mexican) are around. So weird because he's not like that at all normally. |
