I have moaned on here loads previously about mine! She is actually a really nice person, like yesterday she found out i was suffering with sciatica and she rang me to see how i was, but sometimes she is just too interfering and can be too outspoken !!!

My soon to be MIL is lovely. MY OH is her only child and they are close. Like me, he has almost no family left. Just her, me and his step-dad, who is also lovely. We have a fun time when we visit them and I can always pick up the phone to call his mom. I even called her on the rare occasion my OH and I had an argument. I also spoke to her when I was feeling really down a few weeks ago. She always tells me she loves me.

I feel really blessed to have his parents as soon to be in laws. They are much more supportive than my own parents ever were, but without interfering. I have even asked my MIL to come for the birth because I wanted her to be there.

So, no complaints from me at all.

I just wanted to see if anyone actually has a nice MIL who is a normal, understanding human being. I am very thankful I do. She is a great woman, never interferes with anything, and she knows how much I adore her son.

Anyone with me?

My MIL is fantastic, its my mum thats the pain.

I adore my MIL! She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. They have always made me feel welcome in their family.

My (future) MIL is absolutely lovely. I have moaned about her on previous occassions as there are things she does that I really dont agree with but I think thats the same for everyone!

MIL is good though and has got better since Ive been pregnant. She is one of the only people who can get through to my OH when he wont listen to me!!

I don't have a MIL, my OH's mom passed away last mother's day. I do wish she was still here as I know that she would adore her grandbaby.

Same here... MIL is an absolute sweetheart, my own mother is the spawn of satan! She's the one that pulls the "you're doing this wrong, and that wrong" trick

My MIL is very nice. Sometimes she says stuff that makes me shake my head, but I know she means well.
