Ok I need to get this off my chest, sorry this is a major rant.

Josh has been feeling a bit under the weather since a few days... He's breathing funny and was having a bit of fever yesterday. Today my MIL wants to take him out for a walk, it's 12 degrees outside and VERY windy. I said I rather not because he has been feeling a bit sick.

She started telling me the reason why he's sick is because he never goes out. Who the f*ck is she to say that? We go out as much as we can with him but only when it's in the 20s and not too windy. She says it'll do him some good to get fresh air. Riiight. The poor thing isn't very well, he needs to rest and I don't think going for a walk in such chilly weather is good for him right now. I said to her she can go tomorrow when it's nice and warm. She keep on arguing!

I know this is gonna make tensions. I wanna stick to my decision but she keeps on telling me off and won't stop talking about this!

She's so annoying. I'm so pissed off right now and I feel like telling her to shut the F up and that I'M taking the decisions.

I'm having such a shitty day.

Sorry, no need to answer, I just had to get it off my chest and I can't be so rude about her with my husband.

i have to agree i wouldnt be letting my LO go out if unwell, you stick to your guns and remember your baby your choices.

Thanks for understanding ladies! I love this forum so much... This is the only place where you can rant and get support on things such as MILs !!!

If she keeps on talking about it when she comes back home I'll let her know that it would be a good time to shut up before things get worse!

SOrry to hear you have this problem. DOn't let her take your son out whatsoever. I wish we can be rude and cut them off sometimes you know. Why do we have to put up with this. I never have big arguement or so stressed until she interfered.
You know what ? WHen my MIL comes for a visit i have 29 1/2 stressful days out of 30 ( usually one month at each time and wouldn't want to stay at the hotel. )
