Well, since DH and I really don't want to kill them and I REFUSE to use sticky paper or poison, we bought a few traps and one of those things you plug in that sets of a high pitch frequency that is supposed to drive the mice out. Right now I am only using the plug in machine because I do not want them to die. I mean, I think the mice are mostly coming inside right now to get out of the rain we had yesterday because they haven't gotten into any food but the trash.

If that doesn't work in the next few days, I will set the traps. ICKY!

We live in the woods as well....and i won't go into details of how my 2 indoor declawed cats take care of business............ew
We use live trap and I usually take them far away and let go.

While renovating in Sept we found a family. A mama and 2 babies. I kept them in a cage for a few days cause they were so small and it was cold out.
Temp. went up and I let them go then.
