I haven't been online much lately as Pierre keeps me very busy. He never stops feeding!
Anyway I really have to get this off my chest because I'm so angry & scared still.
Last night OH told me to go to bed as I was so tired. As I'm giving top up bottle feeds he was going to stay on the sofa with Pierre to give me a few hours solid sleep.
I went to bed at about 1am. You may or may not know that we live above a chip shop and restaurant which OH manages. Anyway a few minutes after I got into bed, as I was starting to drift off I heard kids voices outside. I didn't pay a huge amount of attention but for some reason felt unsettled by them and I was sure I heard a familliar voice say set fire to it, set fire to it.
The chip shop going up, with it's gas supply and fat is a big fear of mine but I told myself I was being silly and must have dosed off for a few minuits.
I awoke litterally only minutes later to hear more familliar voices from outside and knew something was wrong. Then I heard someone shouting for OH. I instantly guessed roughlt what was wrong I jumped out of bed, calling OH myself only to find him running towards me with Pierre telling me to take him and get out.
As I reached the stairs I could already smell it and we went outside to find that a fire had been started next to the gas pipes going into the chip shop. The chip shop was full of smoke and the wall outside was burnt as well as a bin, completely gone.
Luckily some people who work here had been on their way back from the pub and seen the fire and got an extinguisher & put it out but they said it was just inches away from the gas pipes - the doors to which had been forced open and so had our letter box.
The police were called but were of no help.
We live in a tiny, close knit village and everyone knows there's a newborn baby living here. How could anyone be so cruel. If it hadn't been for the staff we wouldn't be here now and I keep looking at Pierre and just crying, thinking how someone could do that to him.

Also maybe I'm being silly but I'm so scared they'll come back.
