Things to do in West Midlands

I will be moving to Telford in Shropshire soon from Sawansea in Wales. We are so used to certain thinsg down here for days out etc.

I know very little bout this area of England so would be really greatful if anyone can tell me what is near as in for days out as a family. Our daughter is 2 right now but into everything. Where and how far away is the nearest beach lol.

I'm Currently Feeling:

Hey, I was born and raised in the area! Though it's been a few years since I've been back now, a couple things might have changed.

I believe the nearest beach to the West Midlands is Weston-Super-Mare, which is still pretty far away (100+ish miles?) Telford has a nice Ice-rink anyway if you're into skating. Also not far away is the West Midlands Safari park, really great place for little kiddies cos it also has amusements!

Hope this helps a little.
