Emmea12uk, a humanist funeral ( as i understand it) is a non religious funeral. My dad always said he did not want a religious send off as it would be hypocritical. We have picked several songs/ pieces of music that mean something to him or to our memory of him. We did not feel up to reciting the poems/passages and the piece about his life ourselves, so a speaker from the humanist society? is doing it for us. Hope that helps.
