thanks for all your support ladies. Getting a little easier to come to terms with. A newborn baby takes up a lot of time as do 3 other children and a hubby trying to 'help'.

Hello hun, I just wanted to say my thoughts are with you and how sorry I am for your loss. I'm not suprised your feelings are all over the place at the moment, they are bound to be. Emotions are hard enough to cope with following the birth of a new baby. I am sure your dad would be so very proud of his new grandson. Many congratulations to u aswell on the safe arrival of baby Dominic. Hugs xxx

I am so sorry. Just try to keep thinking your dad is looking out for your LO and that he is very special to him as he is his angel

OMG I am so sorry. My dad died suddenly too, the shock and the pain is immense. I can understand you feeling mixed up. Remember though it is o.k. to greive, it's a massive loss. When my dad died 2 yeras ago my brother had just had a baby boy, he was 3 mths when dad died. I found him a great help, a kind of new hope, or at least someone to take my mind off some of it, he never objected to me cuddling him.
I still get upset now. I look at my LO and feel sad that he wont know my dad.

Funeral is next Monday, sure once that is over may start to feel normal again! He is having a humanist send off. Me and my mum and one of my sisters have been trying to pick some music for the service. We were laughing and crying at the same time. We remembered being 'subjected' to The Shadows albums when we were younger so have included one of those!!! Gives me comfort to think he is watching over us in some way.

I hope it all goes well. I remember listening to the picking of the music for my grandfather's funeral and all his children were having a such a laugh at the memories. I love looking back at all the joyous moments of his life, and most of the tears i shed at his funeral were happy ones at all the memories of his life, like the day he stole a digger as a teenager.

I hope it isnt too hard for you. What is a humanist funeral if you dont mind me asking?

so sorry for your loss xxx

but Congrats on the birth of you little boy

my Mum died suddenly few years ago and Ive given my new baby girl her name as a middle name.

I deffo think they watch over us and protect us! after the crash I was involved in at 20 weeks PG , both me and baby could easily have been killed (yes i was badly injured but recovering now) so I think my Mum was protecting us for sure so Im equally as sure your Dad will be looking after you and your family now too, chin up hun be strong xx
