I'm Currently Feeling: | OMG! I thought mine was average £15,000!! My dress etc was £2k, my car was £700, my honeymoon was £3k, it all added up!
We did splash out tho! Shame the debt outlived the marriage! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | the wedding can be as expensive as you want it to be or as cheap! DH and i did nothing special...all we had to pay for was the marriage license which i believe cost about $25. And that was that
Early congratulations on the (future) engagement! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | It is totally up to you love and how much you want to do. My DH and I had 2 weddings. The first was in Texas at my parents house, and we spent about $600. Our wedding in the UK was big, and I think we spent about 20K. Both were fab, and wonderful. I would have prefered a destination wedding to St. Lucia, but DH wanted a big wedding.
So, think about what you want in a venue.
Your dress.
Flowers
Photographer
Food and drinks
Entertainment
Invitations
You can pretty much find just about anything t suit any budget these days. I would say that venue, photographer, and food and drinks would be the biggest bits of a budget. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | yep it's all up to you sweetheart... I didn't have a big wedding either but I just finish a flowers quote for a client tonight and her flowers are over + installation $4500 ( San francisco is expensive so ) I mean the flowers + branches etc will be all the decoration she wants I mean I am please because it's good for my shop but it will be me I will never have the money to do that ...
What matter is that you are happy on your wedding day with the people your love if it mean cupcakes instead of a big wedding cake who care?
Congrats to you ! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | the legal stuff costs you £100 (£30 each for marriage licence and £40 for signing register) after that, as much as you want to spend. Depends what you ant, but shop around!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think it will be the venue that will set us back as we want either an outdoor venue with marquee in the countryside or we'd like it in an old historic house/building in the country. x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | our wedding cost about £1500 we had a church wedding, my dress came from an Oxfam shop! £25! we had open invites to anyone who wanted to come to the church but the meal afterwards was for close friends and family.
We didn't have an evening disco/party as neither of us likes discos and prefers to chat! and personally i think its an excuse for people to get pissed on your own money!
our honey moon was 2 weeks on our own boat.
The wedding will be what you want it to be! i can't see the point of extravagant weddings as you could use the money for something more usefull!! but thats just me! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am planning on doing it abroad, i've looked into prices which are around 600 - 1000 each for the holiday for two weeks all inclusive and then the wedding costs 500 to do it, so all in all will be around 2500 for the both of us and baby. Family and friends that want to come can pay for themselves! I'm not personally into big weddings.
If i was to do it over here i would have a late wedding say, 4 o'clock by the time ceremony over and pictures etc it would be 6 o'clock, then straight to the hotel for hot buffet (not paying 25 per head for everyone a meal!) and party. My friend did this and it cost her about 3000 thousand including dress and hotel and everything.
My other friend spent 40k on hers and it was lovely but i couldn't justify spending that much money! my friends 3k wedding was just as nice! plus not as boring waiting around all day! |
