he came home early today because his contract has ended with no notice due to lack of funding!!

the plot thickens

he called his agency and they say they were told its because he hasnt worked a full week in he time hes been there which is B.S

the only time he has taken off is to take me to scan/midwife etc and each time that has happened they have said its fine not a problem...

and all his time sheets are 4ohours!

so he goes back to pick up a photo he left on his desk...

they say thats rubbish its just due to funding

ahhhhh

Can he not complain?

its complicated he is technically self employed through an agency and an umbrella company, it was ment to be a rolling contract every three months. because he is a contract worker they can pretty much do what they like.....

he can complain with the way hes been treated but thats bout it

So he's like a subcontractor?

Such a shame but hopefully he'll find something else soon. Unfortunately I don't think theres an awful lot you can do about it

yeah thats the word sorry im a bit miffed right now heads crazy!

he had an interview yesterday cause he didnt really like it there anyways that went well, he should hear back sometime tomorrow. its just a big kick in the teeth, this morning everything was so good his divorce paper work has come through so we can now get married before the babys born we are getting on some kind of even keel with moeny and now this..... booooooooo

I'm so sorry to hear this, we're in exactly the same situation Jim found out on Thursday he's lost his job.... well technically still employed atm but will be on garden leave as of now ish and will be redundant in August. So gives us a bit of time but is just so shitty!!
i really hope James gets the job the interview was 4 all my fingers and toes are crossed 4 him.
