Oh, I hate it that employers can treat temps/contractors any way they like! I had a problem where I was temping for 1.5 years and hated the place. I applied for a job somewhere else and was given an offer pending references. Then, the hated place where I worked just sent me home with some bogus stuff. However, it worked out in the end because I am at the place that offered me a job for 4 years and I have been happy.

So, it may work out well for him in the end. You never know.

hopefully he should hear about the job he interviewed for today i hope so. they lazy arse is taking advantage of being unemployed he is still in bed and its nearly half 10!
