I know this guy who likes to think he's very wise but actually can be a bit naieve. Maybe I just think this because of the fact I have a few female friends who've either slept around without using contraception in the hope of getting pregnant or who have tried to trap a guy by getting pregnant (& they've all succeded in the end at least once).
Anyway he has a girl friend who writes down in a diary when they have sex!? He found this out as he went for an STI test and found he had something so asked her if she was sure she didn't have anything when she recently had her smear done. She text back saying somthing like no & the last day we had sex according to my diary is the 23rd?!?! - Isn't that strange and what a woman TTC would do? Why else would you write in a diary when you have sex? They don't use protection as she says she's on the pill.
Then he also has an ex who's a nurse and their only form of contraception was the withdrawal method if it was her fertile time. I'm sure there was a discussion on here before about whether it's reliable but he truly believed that she would know when was safe and when wasn't as she's a nurse. Again maybe it's just my friends who make me feel like this but I wouldn't trust a woman who did that!
I wouldnt trust it either. Maybe she is TTC. Only her knows so he needs to drop it into conversation with her.... For his own sake. Also wouldnt go by the fact shes on the pill as you can still catch STI's.
Trying to trap a guy is such a low move on her part-but it takes 2 to tango and he should takes some responsibility for protection its not just the females responsibility if he doesnt want a child he should insist on something a little more reliable than the withdrawal method.
