And Linzi - are you talking about Income Support or Tax Credits? - coz you would only be entitled to income support if your partner was working less than 24 hours per week and earning less than about £95? (as well as the usual conditions - sick, lone parent or carer)
Err... I dont know I thought they were the same thing lol.

i have a problem with income support aswell !! been waitin ages for it and they said they would fone me back and they still have not ! i phoned for a crisis loan and because i live with my mum they could only give me 15 pounds:O! i mean how can anyone live on 15 pounds lol

Linzi - sounds like Tax Credits to me

Kim - Crisis loans are worked out at a rate per day - they are dependant on age, any children, and other circumstances - if you live at home you were fairly lucky to get anything!!!!! I used to do the decisions on them and we rarely paid someone living with parents. The decision was based on the fact that there was no rent or bills and parents would provide food, therefore the crisis was averted. You may have even had a decision that worked out at approx £3 per day - for food!!!!!! Hope that explains a bit for you.
