finance Help

Well, im totally confused, and have no idea what im entitled to.
Im currently living at home with family, and i have been out of work since the end of feb.
I have applied for a council place, because at the moment i am sharing a room with my sister and obviously there wont be enough room for the baby aswell.
I want to apply for job seekers allowance, but i just wanted to know if i am entitled to anything because i am pregnant? although i know im only early on in the pregnancy, and what i will be entitled to later.

Theres alot of things you can get help with,
If you go down to your local job centre,
& Tell them your expecting,
They can help you with things like family tax credits,
Child Benefits, stuff like that

You can get a Maternity grant (£500) and when you're 11 weeks from your due date (if I remember correctly) you can get Income Support - not loads more than Jobseekers, but every little helps doesn't it. Once baby is born you should be eligible for Child Tax Credits and you will get Child Benefit too.

I agree, take a trip to your local Job Centre and they will help you.
