trying get get moved!


i live in a first floor one bed council flat which was fine to start with but now james lives here and amy is here at weekends along with the cats and now im pregnant we need to move!

im on all the exchange lists going, local housing associations only take people refer ed through the council i dont know what else to do!!

theres always private renting but its so expensive its unreal milton keynes is like a mini london in everyway.

advise ideas??

Hey chick, If your other halfs daughter stays with you regulary, get on to council and tell them, even if it means stretching the truth a bit.
You should get some kind of priority now that you are pregnant anyway, tell them you are over-crowded and need a larger place quickly.
I don't know how the council works where you are but our council give priority to people living in over-crowded accommodation so it's worth a try.
It worked for me anyway, thats how I got the house I'm in now, trouble is we bought it last year and if I get pregnant again there is nowhere for the bubba to go lol..and we'll end up having to move.
If your OH lives with you all the time you should have no problem getting them to give you an exchange. xxxx
