NOT complaining about OH for once - just everything else

Okay, if I don't get all this off my chest, I'm going to explode

So right at the moment we live in a studio apartment. And not even a very nice one. With our two cats. And since the bed that came out of the wall was a full and can't possibly fit my pregnant ass + him we have an air mattress because we can't afford a real one. Of course, like the one before it (we had a diff one before but cats have claws and well...) and now this one has a hole in it somewhere, probably a few and deflates uncomfortably within a half-hour. I managed to accidentally find one hole because in a vain attempt to keep my hips from falling off and my back from killing me I dangled my leg off the bed and felt air blowing on it. It wouldn't be so bad if OH didn't weigh SO MUCH more than me. He ends up in a "hammock" situation while I get left with a wobbly, unsupportive side of the bed.

On top of the shitty bed, since Spring has come, this apartment is as hot as a oven (wtf? it's not even summer!) and OH refuses to turn on the air conditioning. Not even sure why. It doesn't use that much energy. We don't have central air, we have a box in a wall under the window. And he never had a problem turning on the heat in the winter.

Then, somehow we've managed to get ants. They're everywhere. And I just got $25 from my Grandfather to open my bank account (which NEEDS to be done) but I need to buy ant traps or spray or something. I've never had this many ants and am clueless as to how to get rid of them for good. All the dishes are done, the counters are clean and the trash has been taken out. No clue where they came from.

And finally (just today), my left inner thigh feels like it's been bruised badly, but there was no bruise to be found. Alittle later, I feel a stabbing pain alittle above the back of my knee and it seems a spider has bit me. OH never gets bit but I have been bitten a TON. But never on my leg. And I'm worried that it's the bite that's cause my whole upper leg to feel bruised.

*SIGH* I'm so sorry this was so long. I hate bugs, I hate being hot and sore, and I HATE waking up every half hour to put air in a mattress ON TOP OF having to run the the bathroom every 5 minutes (exaggeration but I'm so mad!)

Thanks for listening

Ah, gosh, that sounds bad! I am sorry for your situation honey! I don't know what to say but I can see why you are frustrated.

I hate bugs, but especially am fearful of spiders and wasps. So scared in fact that since we moved in here in July, there are many boxes in our garage that I haven't unpacked due to spiders in there.

Sorry to hear you're having a hard time!

I had ants last summer, in my pantry

They werent as hard to get rid of as i thought, i bought some spray and some powder which i put on all the entrances to the pantry. Turns out they had a little nest in the skirting board and i just blocked it all in with powder and thus, they all died.

I hope you manage to sort the problem soon!

xxx
