New Kitty!

Didn't know where else to put this
We ended up having to sell our 2 kittens that we had . Our Bengal was way too hyper to have around the baby (was a jumper spaz ) and the kitten I had recently gotten had to go with her, they were best friends.
So now my Persian is all alone and is crying all the time for a friend.

I've been looking into the different kinds of breeds that are laid back in tempermant. Thought briefly of getting another Persian but Suki is already a pain in the ass to keep from being matted, so I didn't want to add to that.

So, after much debate. We've decided on a Ragdoll, they're very good with children so that sold us on them. So I got in contact with a local breeder and I get to pick up my kitten on the 19th! He's a blue lynx point mitted, haven't seen him yet but they look like this. I can't wait!

Aren't they gorgeous?

Totally random post I know, but I'm so damn excited about my new kitten (yes I love my kitties ) I had to share

Haha, I love kittens when they're 4-6 weeks old. Cute, playful and clawless!

Ooooh, your cat gave birth didn't it? You need to post new pictures when they're finally running about! How old are they now?

Well, we're thinking of naming him after a kitty we rescued a few years back, he kinda looked like that but was shorthaired and had brown stripes instead of the grey/blue color. His name was Storm.

Orrr, I recently watched Pocahontas with Drake and I'm thinking of going with Meeko.

Which one do you like more? or better yet, I would appreciate some suggestions . I'm so bad at deciding with names.

As I read your post, two breeds came to mind, the ragdoll you ended up choosing and also a Maine Coon. They are refered to as "gentle giants'

I had one when I was single and when DD was very young. Hootie was very gentle, weighed about 15 lbs and was all loverboy.

He looked like this:

They are a huge cat, and are wonderful companion pets.
