| I don't out payment protection either. I have an income protection policy which pays out 80% of salary which will cover all bills every month till i'm back ot work. |

| Its with Liverpool Victoria it pays out £1800 a month and cost me just under £80 a month. They're not floated on the stock market yet, but prob will in next few years so when they do will more than likely get shares too. Our financial guy sorted it all out for us a couple of years ago when he did our mortgage. |

| I wouldnt take Payment protection on anything, it costs a bomb and they wont cover u 8 times outta 10 and u save a great deal. They always try weening there way outta covering you. A mate from work had PPI and was off work for 8 weeks due to illness caught at work and they didnt pay a penny. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I would never have payment protection. I used to have it on my loans etc coz i owed a lot of money and then i got made redundant and they wouldnt let me claim. They said that you have to be out of work for more than 30 days and also have to have been claiming jobseekers allowance for more than that time aswell. So i got in a lot of trouble because i couldnt repay what was in arrears and thats mostly why i ended up going bankrupt coz of the stupid payment protection which i thought i was safe with!! I would have found other ways to cover it had i of known!! |
