it depends if you work or not.
My Best friend is on her own with 2 and she gets housing paid council tax child tax, she get 80% of childcare for her so she can work up to 30 hours a week and obvoiuly she get that wage and to make up the rest she gets working tax credit. there are many things if you are on a low income now and are on income support then you can qualify for a sure start grant which is 500 and you dont have to pay it back go to

Also might be a good idea before baby due to ring and meet someone to see where you stand as she said the forms are a nightmare and take ages. also same with council for housing and council tax. Go to HR Inland revenue for working tax credit and child tax credit.
