I'm Currently Feeling: | Car Insurance..
I finally have enough for the car I want. Nothing special really.
Then I start looking at car insurance, and they want more for the insurance than the car!!
That has spoilt my day. Guess I'm 100% not going to be driving bump around.. | | | | Status: Online

I'm Currently Feeling: | How does anyone on their own ever afford to drive? For the love of God. And now I'm going to hell for using his name in vain.
Being hormonal about this... | | | | Status: Online

My first lot of car insurance when i was still on provision for my OH and me cost £1200!!!
The car we bought only cost us £300.. Pfft
Our premium this year is down to £570 though, thank goodness for that! Getting that first year paid for is definately the hardest. Hope you can afford it somehow... i'll try find a money tree for you

I'm Currently Feeling: | Have you got anyone that can drive and is older and been driving longer and can go on your insurance?? i know its not ideal but its worth seeing. I drive a 54 reg 206 and on my own insurance would cost 700 as i only been driving 3 years and not 21 till may got my dad to go on it with me and it now only gots me 200 a year cause he been driving 30 odd years. go to www.swiftcover.co.uk thats where i get mine from as long as you got no points on license it well cheap :-) | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was going to suggest the same as Ema. I used to be on my Dad's insurance for years before I could afford my own.
I'm not suggesting that you should find someone older with loads of years no claims bonus, and they should insure the car for you with them as the main driver, and you as a named driver. And I'm also not saying that we did that for Stu's car as I have 8 years NCB, and he has 9 points. Not suggesting that at all. It's downright illegal! | | | | Status: Offline

| thats what my sister has done but she is still down as the main driver and my parents are on the insurance, it makes it slightly cheaper. ( would be cheaper if she took my dad off cos he has 3 points on his licences). have u tried going on supermarket.com or things like that to get a load of quotes at once. | | | | Status: Offline
