Or get them to do copies of EVERYTHING. They won't be happy, but if you insist they will do it.

We're pretty up and down right now. We're not living with eachother as he's working in London. It's a pretty crap situation. I'm sure they'll tell me everything at this meeting on the 8th though. Hope so anyway, I'm pretty clueless.

Sorry to keep putting a downer on things for you, and I don't know how they are where you live but i've always found the majority of staff at the Job Centre very UNhelpful - they treat everyone like bums. I had to ask for everything I was entitled to, when I expected there to be a little more "support" so to speak.

If you're not living with him, you'll get Income Support, Child Benefit and Child Tax Credits (I get the last 2 still and im living with my boyfriend).
If you live together, you will get the remaining 2 benefits and your partner will get Working Tax Credits if he is at work.

Not sure what else you are entitled to though, all dependent on your living arrangements/personal circumstances. Be aware that you need to apply for these benefits yourself, you won't get loads of help from them.

Yeah everyone has informed me they're completely useless! I've just found in the back of my pregnancy book it explains everything I'm intitled to so I'm going to make some phonecalls on Monday. Thanks guys.

Awwwww some of us aren't that bad!!!!! Yeah then again maybe you're right!!!! We do see a lot of people trying to make fraudulent claims and therefore those who are genuine sometimes get the raw end of the deal. I will try and help anyone on here (as well as at work I might add!!!!) with any queries.

Whilst I remember too, make sure you apply for your Maternity Grant once your income support is paid
