I'm Currently Feeling: | Sky We possibly (fingers crossed) will be moving soon & I really want to have Sky again. I have a very sad life and Sky TV is a big part of it. Unfortunatly though the building is listed so we probably won't be able to have a dish put up. Then I was looking into cable and it's a non cable area!!
I hate stupid freeview! What am I going to do with no Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Sky One!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | If it is communial you can set up your own dish in the garden on a post..You are not allowed to place one on the building by law but there are no rules about in your own part of the garden as long as you point the dish in the right direction you should have no problems...I would check with your landlord and see if this is plausible... |

Hmmmm time to keep thinking. I thought maybe BT Vision but you need BT broadband for that and if we move to this place we will get free broadband.
Does anyone know much about Top up TV? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't live without my Sky+ box!!! Being busy means we never sit down at the same time. We series link everything so we don't have to think about it.
Is there anywhere else you can move to??? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Listed house?
Ours is a listed house & the dish is on the chimney! For sky plus we had to pay an independant to fir the double box is all but it could not be put lower because of trees etc all round us near enough! We believe it could have gone on house if it wasn't for that - you can't change feature I believe you can add to it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I worked for a sky contractors once, they can put the dish on a special bracket on your chinmey. The house over the road is listed and they have theirs on the chimney too!
Just ask them first about pricing....the contractors can be quite dodgy and make it up as they go along!
The conpany worked for we're actually through sky, if sky themselves can't cover the job for whatever reason they may send this *Dodgy* company! Not sure if I'm allowed to post the name though So if you wanna know just PM me and I'll tell you! They done the house over the road....you wanna see the state of the wiring, it hangs down from the guttering......its terrible!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Well thats some good news - there is hope yet!! I will ask the landlord if he's ok with it since it's above a restaurant. I don't know if they'll be too happy about it but it's worth a try. |
