Avon rep

Is/has anyone done or doing this? I've been thinking about it for abit of extra cash, at least i can take Oliver whilst posting brochures and do the rest at home! Is it worth doing? I know you get £1 for every £4 a customer spends. x

I done it for 4 months and tbh I didnt make any money I am also still owed £45 from a neighbour who didnt pay up (well cheque bounced & no other payment has been made) I think the reason I didnt make any money is coz I ended up buying stuff I was my own best customer even though I swore I wouldnt!! I only put out 25 - 30 brochures so maybe if you were prepared to cover a bigger area you could make money but I honestly dont think it will be alot!

This is only my opinion & my experience with it!!

My next door neighbor sold Avon for years, but she really had to work at it to make any profit.

Just too add I got fed up also with them ringing me all the time offering me incentives (sp) to sell more. I guess I am just the type to be an Avon Lady maybe someone else on here will have a better opinion of it than me!!

I tried it but didnt make much if any money, it was just too much hassle. TBH i couldn't be bothered...you need a lot of motivation to do this.

i did it, you have to pay for yr books, and have to collect them and send them out again quite a few times, alot of people dont leave there books outside, and its pain keep asking for them, you get people leaving nasty notes about not wanting avon and a even bigger hassel collecting the money, it really was not worth it.....they make it sound really good when talking to the person that tries to hire you, but its a pin in the bum..... you have got to pay for everything...
