| Well it was an adventure getting there at least as our train hit a tree just as it was falling onto the lines. That caused a bit of a delay!
They said he was over qualified for the job he applied for but offered him a job as a pub manager instead. He turned it down and I'm absolubtly gutted!! It would have been great - good money, free accomodation. He feels it would be too much responsibility because he'd have to learn all the laws around health and safety as well as selling alcohol. I told him it isn't that hard. I used to manage an off-licence and I've worked in enough pubs and hotels. If I can do it - he can! Still I don't think it's going to change his mind.
They really want to take him on though so they said they're going to call him in a couple of weeks as they're opening a new pub or restaurant. Now I've just got to prey he likes it!
