Claiming on Insurance

We've just lost our shed in the wind.

Have spent the last 30 mins getting the contents into the garage & getting whats left of the shed somewhere relatively safe so as not to blow anywhere and cause any damage.

We are considering claiming on the insurance but not sure if it is worth it.
If we claim premiums will go up as we get discount for being claim free ( for 10 yrs grrr). Not sure if the increase in premium will be worth the claim.

Anyone any idea.

Thanks for your help.

Also pulled cars to end of drive in case any tiles blow off roof. Just hope its only the shed we got to worry about.

I'm Currently Feeling:

Look at what your excess is as well hun, it really might not be worth it for the increase in payments, if nothing else has been damaged i'd prob just bite the bullet and buy a new one
