Husband/DF Working Away?

Anyone else have a husband or DF who works away during the week?

Steve is based at an aircraft manufacturer site that is 150 miles or so from home.
So he usually leaves early Monday mornings and comes back late Friday evenings.
Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation?
And no - he's not living a double life LOL

My DH is away tonight though it's the first night he's been away since the children were born.

I can't believe you manage so many children on your own. It's like a military mission just putting our two to bed by yourself!

WOW Kellz, I think you must be superwoman in disguise!

My DH used to work away 1st thing Monday til early hours Saturday morning (unfortunately he isnt working much at the minute) He is usually away Friday and sometimes Saturday nights now.

You made me laugh when you said he isnt leading a double life, I was always paranoid what people would think etc.

So you are by yourself with 7 kids mon-fri? yikes...

My DH goes TDY (temporary duty assignment) occasionally...i am not phased by it at all, mostly because my father, who was also in the military, was gone maybe 6 or 7 months out of a year every year that i could remember. Of course i miss DH when he is gone, but i am just so used to the man of the house leaving for TDY, know what i mean? lol It's something i am able to cope with.

OH goes away for 2-3 weeks at a time, then come back for a couple of days and leave again... I hate it ! It's really hard to get through it. I don't know how it's gonna be with a newborn, I hope it won't be too hard on me.

My OH is working 7-8 hours away !
It's just over 400 miles.
I'm so close too, so it makes him nervous.
As soon as I loose my plug/start getting contractions I HAVE to call him and he said he is leaving RIGHT THEN! He isn't supposed to come home on the weekends, but he did this past weekend. He is hoping I will go into labor tonight/tomorrow while he is still here.
