I'm Currently Feeling: | Like I say, there are alot of fakes. But my personal experience is that I have been told things by a medium that confirm what I thought. My friend writes everything she says to someone down. It is not a "question and answer session" . Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
"For believer no proof is necessary, for sceptic no proof is enough"...

| I practice clairsentience, but not often. When I was little, I had more ablilities than I do now, my parents don't believe and thought I had an awful lot of imaginery friends!
There are fakes about, mainly ones on telephone lines who charge a fortune and spout out generalisations that could apply to just about anyone (ie; "you have financial difficulty" - who doesn't? or "You are having trouble in a personal area of your life") These sorts of things would apply to just about anyone seeking help from the "other side" as most people who attend mediums for the first time are looking for guidance and reassurance in their lives.
My advice would be to go to a medium that has been recommended or is reknowned for their gift rather than just picking one out of a directory. | | | | Status: Offline

She was a much loved lady who was in her forties, I know her son well. He believes that his Mum would come back here to visit as she was happiest in our house.
I often smell estee lauder perfume (I don't wear Estee Lauder!) and see shadows in the corners of my dining room when it is dusk. Like I say, it is a very comforting presence not threatening at all.
The weirdest thing is that my cats purr and rub up someone that I can't see! I am not frightened to be here, everyone who visits says that the house has a lovely feeling about it.
When I first met my OH, he lived in a 450 year old converted barn, there was a scary presence there. My son was two when I first took him to stay down there. He was fine in the day, but he would scream blue murder when it came to bed time. He would say that he didn't like the nasty man! I would never sleep next to the bedroom door either as I always felt like someone was about to grab me..
Just a couple of the more tame stories
Redhorse xxx | Wow! Thanks for sharing I absolutely love the paranormal and in a way it is helpful so that you know we go somewhere else when we leave here, I personally find it quite comforting. Not seen anything myself but would like to as I have never seen any proof of the afterlife apart from just believing.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I do believe in psychics, but also know that there are true ones and fake ones.
The few that I've went too predicted quite a bit that would happen.
With regards to children, one said that I would have a miscarriage, then a girl that definitely wanted to be here, and a possible third child.
I had the miscarriage, I had the girl, I've had a boy. However, she didn't say anything about this pregnancy. LOL |

| Scary Redhorse, do you have any more stories? I remember one my mum told me about going to a friends new house with my dad when she was pregnant. She went to the loo and got a horrible feeling, she was scared and felt a presense.. so she returns to the rest of them and told them that she was sorry for saying it, but she felt scared and then the lady friend started crying and saying that she hated the house because a man had hung himself in the bathroom-freaky!
I've also had an experience with a ghost/poltergeist and it terrified me, when people say they don't believe in ghosts I just think of that and think yea .. ok!
There are no doubt SO MANY scams though, so I am quite wary.. BUT (im going to sound like a nutjob now) I am very sensitive - so are a few members of my close family and I get "feelings" or premonitions and dreams of things that actually happen, it can be very weird/freaky! My great grandmother or something on my dads side was a famous psychic in the north called Mrs Rutter apparently lol. Id love to see a medium. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Strange thing happened this weekend actually. I was staying at my friends' house in Cambs. We have to sleep in the living room on a large inflatable bed, and last night I had heartburn really badly- so I woke up and opened one eye and it was really really dark.
I opened the other eye and looked over at my OH, he was fast asleep. And walking across the dining room was a man (who I thought was my drunk friend coming downstairs). I sat up and he disappeared! I was too peturbed to get out of bed for a glass of water though, I can tell you!
All very strange, I have never been sensitive to anything in their house at all before. I had had NOT one drop of alcohol (was driving as well as being pregnant). I checked with my friend that it definitely wasn't him and he swears it wasn't and I believe him.
I am now just wondering who it was?? Like I say, I have never been troubled by a 'spirit' there before?
I am sensitive to the 'feelings' in a building and get deja vu regularly. People prolly think that I am a nutjob now too. But I really am not honest.
I always dream about places that I am going to go to and when I get there I know exactly what they are going to look like.. Weird huh???
