I'm Currently Feeling: | One of my closest friends is a medium and a reiki master. She uses angel guides and has always been very very accurate to the letter when I have sent people to her. I originally met her through a mutual friend and she gave me a reading, she was absolutely spot on, she gave me exact names of family members that had passed on and told me things that only I and they knew. I trust her implicitly. She is well known where I live and is the most genuine person I know.
I definitely believe, and I believe in ghosts too- I could tell you about some of the experiences I have had. They have been quite hair raising....

I'm Currently Feeling: | No i must say that i dont believe in mediums.Never have dun. I think they do it because itsa easy way of maken money and they do tend to feed on the weak because they seem to think that naieve people or the vunrable are so much easier to target and take them in to believe in every word that they say. I hate to say it , but its true!!. What they do is they keep digging and digging in to your personal stuff till they find something out. Or even if you dont tell them anything about yourself they can still find an other way of makeing you believe. In a way mediums kind of read in to you just like a book and from this can tell you pretty much everything there is to know/ about you . Itsa bit of a phsycoligical thing, they really know how to read a persons mind. Probably could even tell you what you had for breakfast, where you went to school, where your gran went to school, what your mothers occupation is,what you want to achieve in life without you even saying a word and somehow they always seem to be right!!. Doesnt make them a psysic there just really good at telling you what you all ready know and what you would like to know. Itsa big scam if you ask me but othr people choose to believe in it then i think thats good if that makes them happy. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree in that some of them are fakes. It would be so hard to find one that actually has talent. Anyone seen John Edward? I think he's the real deal. I would love to go to one for a reading.
We actually have a Physic Expo here every year that i'd love to go to one time. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I do believe. And pinkdiamond, they dont all just do it as an easy way to make money and they dont all "feed on the weak". Yea there are plenty that do and its a shame when people have had experiences with the likes of those because they tend to think they are all like that.
The biggest part of my family are spiritual. I have one uncle more so though. He has always worked a full time job as a manager to support his family and his never lived off peoples beliefs. He is a qualified medium and does reading and meetings with family and friends purely to help them out the goodness of his heart. If someone wants him to travel to there house all he takes is the petrol money to get him there cause the reward to him is helping people.
Whether people believe or not is entirely up to them. Just wanted to say that there not all out there to theif your money if you find the right kind x |

I respect why you might think that, but as I have said- my friend is a medium. I am a businesswoman myself and I am not in anyway "weak" or guillible and she has never "prayed" on anyone especially not for money. She will help people out for free, she has also been approached on many occasions by other professional people too and in her readings she does not ask the person she is doing a reading for questions to dig for information! She has a gift and whether people believe in mediums or not I don't think that it is fair to label them all fakes because it doesn't fit with your idea of convention.
There are alot of so called mediums out there that I would not even bother with either. But speaking from vast experience of strange goings on in my life, I find comfort in the fact that there maybe guardian angels looking out for us. And no, I am not particularly religous either. I think that there are a lot of things in life that are inexplicable. Mediumship being just one of many.
JMHO,

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hi Spartacus,
I have always been fascinated by the spiritual side of things, I hear voices in my current house (not scary voices, just whispers and occasionally I hear my name called softly) and the lady who owned my house before the people that we bought it off passed away here from a tumour. She was a much loved lady who was in her forties, I know her son well. He believes that his Mum would come back here to visit as she was happiest in our house.
I often smell estee lauder perfume (I don't wear Estee Lauder!) and see shadows in the corners of my dining room when it is dusk. Like I say, it is a very comforting presence not threatening at all.
The weirdest thing is that my cats purr and rub up someone that I can't see! I am not frightened to be here, everyone who visits says that the house has a lovely feeling about it.
When I first met my OH, he lived in a 450 year old converted barn, there was a scary presence there. My son was two when I first took him to stay down there. He was fine in the day, but he would scream blue murder when it came to bed time. He would say that he didn't like the nasty man! I would never sleep next to the bedroom door either as I always felt like someone was about to grab me..
Just a couple of the more tame stories

I'm Currently Feeling: | Wow thats great Redhorse,id always 99 percent believed but thought if i could get some kind of sign or message from my nan it would confirm, which it did.I travelled 50 miles so the woman couldnt have known anything about me she didnt even no my name. She told me all about my childhood,my children and there health issues,my pets even down to the fact i have gerbils,my m/c which finaly put a closure on that subject for me.She was just top,she knew my partner hadnt gone down on one knee to propose and loadsa silly stuff which i know my nan would have said.I have seen my nan twice since she died and apparently im awaiting a 3rd visit,i smell her perfume in my house although she never visited here when alive, she plays with our lights and the medium said watch ur kettle shes going to start on that, last fri our kettle ceased to work.Everybody to there own beliefs but it gave me such hope and comfort that i believe totaly. My reading was completely different to my partners whose was more about the future stating she could see him working as a police officer or customs hes just got through his 1st police assessment.she said mine was more about proving my nan was there with stuff only she could know. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I quite agree with PinkDiamond. I'm not sure if maybe there are people out there who can do it some some extent but mostly they're just people who have had a lot of practise and it's just a case of psychology. They'll ask you questions and tell you lots of stuff, some of which can sound right to you but they'll also say plenty which is wrong and human nature is to ignore that info and just focus on what they've said that could be right. We'll have totally forgotten by the end of the convo what was innacurate because we want to believe.
If it's a woman, especially young, then predicting pregnancy is an obvious one. Tend not to be too specific about when this might happen but saying within a few months or a year is often a good guess & you then read into it from there. They'll talk about hurt and pain because at the end of the day who doesn't experience it and the same with love and they can tell a lot by your reactions to follow on from their. Even if you just reply with "hmm", they should work out whether it's a positive or negative "hmm".
Ghosts is something I sort of believe in. I've often dismissed strange things that have happened to me in my old house and still do but can't get away from the fact those same strange things happened to everyone else who lived their too, some of which were sure ghosts don't exist till my mum decided to get a priest in to perform and exorcism and my step dad ran away after seeing "the ghost" which he was sure couldn't possibly exist. Freaky!! |
