I met my DH at ASDA! I was 17 & working there part time on the pizza, curry & deli counters, while I was at college. OH was at the local uni doing his degree. One Saturday (when I was feeling very poorly) the manager introduced me to a new member of staff. Because I was feeling so poorly I just sort of grunted at him, I ended up going home that day. I worked with him for a few more shifts, I usually worked on the curry counter & he usually worked on the pizza counter. I realised that he was kinda cute so I use to make up excuses to go to see him, like needing some blue towel stuff. He hardly spoke a word & I thought he was arrogant...he told me later taht he thought I was rude!!

Well after lots of small 'hellos' we went together on our breaks. That day some of the other guys who worked there invited Mark (DH) out to the local nightclub, Mark said yes then asked if I wanted to go. I said yes!

He walked me home (I only lived down the road) we talked for a bit & then he told me where he lived so that I could meet him. I went to his student flat had a drink, we were meant to meet the others but ended up being really late because we were just chatting! We finally went to the night club & met up with the others. After a bit OH started getting grumpy because he said that I didnt like him, I liked one of the other guys (i told him i did a couple of weeks before but that was before OH arrived!!!) I started crying...really dont know why.. so I dragged him to one side, told him I liked him & kissed him! I stayed over that night.... we were good tho!! & the rest as they say is history...

That was November, I moved in on Valentines day, we shared a student flat the following September. He then moved back to his home town (about 45 mins away) & we saw each other every other weekend for a year, we then rented our first place together.

We got engaged July 2006, got married June 2007 & have just got our first place. We've been together just over 5 years now & he is my world. We still hold hands & snuggle up everywhere!! I cant imagine my life without him! (sorry so long!)

Hello!

I met my other half on May 8, 1998. We met at a nightclub. I was walking past him and said hi, to which he just looked at me and didn't reply right away. So, I thought, screw him, and started to walk away. Well, that's when he finally said hi. Turns out he had had quite a bit to drink and gets pretty quiet when he drinks.

Anyhow, it was a fabulous night. He kept saying that I was perfect, etc.

That was almost 10 years ago.

Surprising I made it the first year as he has 3 kids from a couple of prior relationships. I remember the night, 3 weeks later after we met, when he said "I have something to tell you." In my mind, I thought, OMG he's married. No, he said he had kids. I was relieved.

BUT, it started to dawn on me and it was touch and go for me the first year dealing with a jealous ex, and kids. I never dated a guy with kids and never even thought to ask anyone I dated if they had kids.

Well, I survived and we now have two wonderful children and 1 on the way - and I have 3 stepkids. LOL

I met Jay through my brother almost 3 years ago.
My brother met him first through a car club and had to run to Jays house for something so I went along with him and brought our dog too. It was a really hot day and it was a long drive so I asked if I could get some water for my dog. I don't really remember him being there lol but he said he was checking me out the whole time.

The first meeting that I remember was at a car BBQ that I went to and he was going around taking pics of the cars. I remember him smiling and winking at me and I thought he was kinda cute. Then one day he had come to my house to hang out with my brother and work on the cars and he said he wanted me to pose on his car for some pics and just gave me his number. lol then slowly he started to come around more and he said when he saw how I was with his 2 daughters that I was the one. I remember gradually getting to know him and the more we hung out the more I started to like him. I have to admit though the first time we ummm. were alone together was when I knew I had to keep him LMAO
Our relationship has not been easy but Im thankful for it each and every day. I could not have met a more caring and gentle person. He's my world

I met Ty in middle school, we were thirteen years old. Couple weeks of talking online and at school and a valentines day dance and we started dating. It's been the best 7 years of my life and I couldn't be more thankful to have met him when I did. We've been through a lot and couldn't be happier about expecting our first little guy.
