Im so sory I missed this yesterday.
It must be so tough for you right now I could not even imagine going through what you are. I think that I would be in shambles
I hope that he is OK. I don't really know what else to say except i'll be thinking of you and hoping that you are all ok. And although James might be sleeping he can still hear you so don't be afraid to talk to him and tell him you love him.
God Bless

Thank you everyone.
We saw the consultant tonight, he's quite optimistic about how James is doing. He says the swelling in his head has gone down significantly, which is good; but we won't know if there's been any either temporary or permanent damage until he wakes up. They're quite worried about his pelvis because of where the fractures are, they said that it's quite likely they'll operate and put some pins in to keep it all together because of the amount of fractures he's got but they can't x-ray him properly at the moment because of the coma so again we have to wait until he's woken up. His elbows are completely shattered, they're going to have to put new joints in each one and he has hairline fractures up both his arms from where he was holding the steering wheel when they crashed.
I think the worst thing is the waiting; just not knowing what's going to happen. But I talked to him lots today and it did make me feel a bit better and the doctors said he might be able to hear me so I'm just hoping that he hangs in there for me and the baby.
The doctors are going to see how he is tomorrow evening and then maybe try and bring him out of the coma. If they do then they said I can stay there until Friday so I can be there if he wakes up in the night.
He's doing as well as he could be at the moment, he doesn't seem to be in any immediate danger as the broken ribs are still well away from his lungs so there's not a high chance of them puncturing his lungs. I guess we're just slowly realising the full extent of his injuries and hopefully on Friday when he's woken up we'll know more. I can't wait to talk to him properly, to tell him how much I love him.
Thanks for all your lovely messages, it really does mean a lot to me at the moment. It's great to come here after a hard day and see how kind supportive everyone is.
I'll keep you all updated
xx
