OK, now I think I'm silly because I hadn't even thought about that!
I'm not even thinking about getting married (anytime in the near future anyway) so I'm not really sure what we'll do.

I guess we could do the double barrel thing but I think King-Thomas sounds a bit silly tbh! (I am King, OH is Thomas)
I would change my name by deed poll but I like being Ellianna King! lol

Hmm, will have to give that some thought...

Oh I just mentioned this in another thread! But I changed my name by deed poll ... tbh it was the best option for me personally but I found it really easy to do due to family history/how I was raised. No loyalty to thename I guess is best way to discribe it! Now Im the same name as my babies & my baby has Dads name (which I think it should be).

We did deed poll (my idea) because we're not ready to wed either ...

I say I am hes not though lol

Getting married isnt an option at the moment and we both have long surnames and having it double barrelled would just sound ridiculous. Does it cost money to change by deedpoll?

I felt exactly like that which is why we got married when I was 6 months pregnant!

I swore I'd never marry again. I changed my name by deed poll using a solicitor when I separated from my ex-husband and it cost me £100. That was a few years ago now, but I think you can do it yourself for a lot less.
