I'm Currently Feeling: | ICK! Cat Spray! We've got three cats, one of whom is not yet fixed as I thought he was too young... apparently not! I walked into my house today after class and it stunk so bad of cat spray, it's repulsive! I'm literally trying not to gag. My entire house reeks of it.
The problem is: I don't know WHERE he's spraying! How do I get this stink out of my house when I don't know where to clean it up.
Do you ladies know of any sprays or even household concoctions that can get this stink out? I've sprayed loads of Mandarin Febreeze around, but it only seems to make the smell worse. HELP!! My poor nose..... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | OMG cat spray is the worst thing. Firstly get that cat down to the vet tomorrow or your going to have hell. I would personally ask them as theres certain cleaning products that can attract it more (i think) ... Hypnorm might know/ be able to help though but not sure. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i never had my cats spray, but there is a great spray that you can get from pampered pets that worked when my cats went through a phase of pi**ing behind the telly.
its called urinator! its safe and is scentless but it seems to get rid of that pi**y smell that makes you gag.
scrub the carpet with detol lots of it! if its in a carpet!
cut up a lemon and place on a plate in the room, out of reach of children or where it can get stepped on. it should help to get rid of a bit of the after smell that lingers in the air.
as for finding the place that has been sprayed... cats love dark quiet corners, so i would try under the stairs, behind the telly, under the bed, or computer desk and by the front door.
hope this helps x x x x | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Eww tom cat spray is the worst! Hopefully the neutering will sort it, how old is he?
Sometimes they will carry on spraying after neutering.

I'm Currently Feeling: | My cats have just started P***ing everywhere. I've got 5 and its a nightmare. I think I'm more sensitive to the smell now too as OH says since I cleared it up last time he cant smell it but I cant get the stink out of my nose. I love the little bleeders to bits but sometimes I could kick them out!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know of a spray that works, but I don't believe that you will find it where you are. Hopefully you will get something to get the smell out completely, because even if you don't smell it, after he is neutered and he comes home and smells it, he will most likely continue to spray... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks! I'll try that today. I find that he usually sprays whilst I'm at school, so I've been keeping all three of them in the basement while I'm gone. I'll definitely try the vinegar thing today! |
