I'm Currently Feeling: | One of us will do it (more often than not its Matt now because I cant stand the smell of a lot of things) but I dont mind cooking at all. Its pretty easy!
If you ask about emptying the dishwasher though, I can tell you, that 100% of the time it is me.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I love cooking though I don't have quite the time I used to have to spend preparing a meal. That said, I didn't learn to cook until I was 29 when I split up with husband number one. I suddenly realised how relaxing it is to cook and how nice it is to cook for someone who enjoys eating and trying new things.
Thankfully DH is an enthusiastic eater and the children seem to be taking after him. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I really love cooking. I was talking to my boyfriend about this the other night - if I use a stir in sauce, I feel like im cheating! I love getting all the fresh ingredients and making my own dinners, sauces and whatever else. I could make a lasagne with a shop bought sauce and not enjoy it because it tasted like it was from a jar. Don't get me wrong, I use jarred stuff sometimes, but id rather not if i've got a bit more time to prepare.
My boyfriend doesn't cook, but he helps me prepare and stuff quite a bit (washing veg, getting pans out for me.. that type of thing).
Last night we had chicken stir fry with black bean sauce, tonight we are having stuffed peppers, tomorrow is lemon chicken with thymey roast potatoes and veg then we are going for a simple pizza express supermarket pizza with salad the day after! - I get excited just thinking about cooking.. I know im sad. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | LOL Tilly your not sad. I've been getting really excited about it too! I'm planning my dinners out a head of time, and I've only been making my own sauces. Before, I used to boil some pasta, steam some broccoli, and pour in a jar of sauce, and tell myself I just cooked a meal LOL. Now I'm making everything on my own, and its cool cause I get to control what goes in it, so I know how much salt I am getting, and can make it healthier by adjusting things. I'm loving cooking! I feel like a nerd sometimes cause I get so excited about it lol. I think it started cause I'm going to be a mom, but now I just like doing it cause I have fun, and feel accomplished when a meal turns out really good.
And now you made me hungry reading what you are cooking.... ((Off to kitchen to find something to eat)) |
