OK i'm delighted and ereything but seriously my mom just informed me shes pregnant!!!!! Due in June!!! I cant actually believe it!!! There is now a 18 year gap between this baby and me!!! I'm delighted but so far the baby will be younger than its 5 nieces and nephews!!! does anyone else hae a huge gap between siblings in their family!!!

There's a 20 yr age gap between my OH and his younger sister.

Sophie is now 5 and is a Auntie to Noah.

Its really funny, Everytime we're out people just assume that Sophie is our daughter and then we explain that she's actually Chris's sister.

It is quite nice, but because there's such an age gap she gets really spoiled. Sometimes I have to put my foot down with my OH as he'll let her get away with all sorts but he can't anymore as he/I wouldn't be letting Noah get away with it when he is older!

Yep I have three sisters who are all 20+ years older than I am! None of my nieces and nephews are older than me though (the closest is 10 months younger)! DH is 28 and he has a 5 year old sister (the exact opposite of my family where I was the youngest )

My little sister is 10 years younger than me...luckily my mom stopped at 6

I think it would be fun to have a baby sibling. I'm almost 19, and my youngest brother is 10. When I told my brothers I was pregnant, he said "I'm going to be an uncle at 10?" Like thats a horribly young age or something, I was like, well.. not my fault I am the oldest.
However, my BF is the baby in his family, and he is 23!! He has a few nephews, but none that he has ever really been around alot/more than a few times a year. Thats what makes me nervous about him and our son.. but I'm sure he will be good. He usually is pretty good with his nephews, and when we are around my baby cousins he will hold them and such. He's only changed one diaper his whole life though, and that was like 6-7 years ago.. it will be quite an experience.

im the first born although now really brother or sisters and they vary from me 21 to 12which does not sound that much of a difference for the post abouve how old is ur mum hunni do u feel werid that ur mums having a baby as ur baby is due in 16wks and ur mum in 20wks so there be a months between ur baby and ur mums so they will be a auntie/unlce newphew aawww how sweet

Im 21 and my youngest sister is 12 weeks .... i see lots of people on here with quite big age gaps between siblings, a lot more than i thought!!

It doesn't bother me..... My mom is only 39 but my step-dad is 48 so we weren't really expecting anymore kids but im delighted!!! I'm the youngest at the min and I'm 18 so new baby will be spoiled by all of us. It really was a big shock because my step-dad was told he couldn't have anymore kids due to an accident he had which is why my mom and step-dad adopted Alexa, Carmen, Jackson and Noah!!! The baby is really a miracle, now the age gap between us is~~~~~
