some of you know i had trouble with 3 about 6 months ago when they sent me to a debt recovery agent, anyway i paid the agent and contacted 3 to cancel my contract, which they did.

i have had no contact with 3 since.

today i recieve a letter from another debt recovery agent saying i owe them even more money! baring in mind ive had no bills, no warning, no nothing from them for 6 months.

i just rang them and they told me my account wasnt cancelled and they have no record of my request to cancel.

fucking typical!

where do i stand on this as ive had no bills, no warnings or anything? its not my fault they didnt cancel my contract but obviously i have no 'proof' of the phone call either since they didnt 'note it down'

My OH also had this trouble with 3 also.

Im trying to contact him for you to see if I can find out any info, We both work for Orange but I dont know about disconnections , its not my area but he does as he is trained inti. So if i can find anything out for you i'll be sure to let you know.

Chris has said to give them a call and argue the point that you have had no correspondence from them. He said it was exactly what they did to him. Once your account has been passed to the debt collection agency its closed down.
If you can remember the date you called & the number you called from you can also ask for a call trace.

Sorry I cant be of any more help but I hope you get this sorted, Chris said he had to argue alot but in the end they got nothing as they didnt have a leg to stand on. X

they should both be able to tell you were you stand on this
