I absolutely love when my mums cat is pregnant. But, as I'm living with her ATM I'm abit weary of the fact we're going to have to have a litter tray around soon! She also wants to get a kitten from her friend because she has been waiting for a smokey grey kitten for ages and they have one, ready now. I'm just abit worried about the litter tray. I know they say it should be O.K. if you don't clean the tray but what if they get it in their paws etc? They're going to be really young..

You won't get Toxoplasmosis from kittens, there's only a slight risk of contracting it if you have outdoor cats that use the litter tray. Just washing your hands will be all you need and unless you lick your cats poopy paws you should be purrfectly (groan!) safe.
