I'm in a horrible situation with work, I was suspended sept last year and I'm still off. They tried to redeploy me on medical grounds but they had no reason to and I'm waiting to find out what they are gong to do now, I could be sacked. If I am I have to get a new job, which will mean no SMP, and when my current employers find out, if they keep me on, they are going to hit the roof. Its a lose lose situation as far as I can see and I'm worrying how we will cope with no SMP and all the stress.

Wow that's a long time to be suspended! R u going through a disciplinary? Don't answer if you don't want to.

Yup, 14 months. They started a disciplinary then threw it out, then tried to medically redeploy me but couldn't and I don't know what they are going to do now!!

Are you without pay then for that long?

I've been paid the whole time thankfully, but I got my P45 this morning with no mention of them dismissing me, I feel a court case coming on!
