Anyone have any advise?

Basically I was admitted into hospital on monday with 2+ protein in my urine and high blood pressure of 148/90 when I usually run about 100/70... so after a night in the hospital my blood pressure came down and they said i could go home but to be prepared as i would develop pre-eclampsia at some point but i could go home and rest...
Anyway i have been having headaches, blured vision and pain under my right rib (really painful, going from my front to back) and swelling in my fingers and ancles however i tested my blood pressure multiple times and it has been normal? I think if i go to the hospital (over an hour away) they will monitor me for an hour and send me home so i dont know what to do as i have read if you do not have high blood pressure it cannot be pre-eclampsia?

Sorry this was so long!

Hope you all feel better than I am!
Thanks in advance!

call the labour ward hun and tell them your symtoms-its worth getting monitored as i think thats probabley pre-ecalmpsia. dont worry though i had it too, they might give u high blood pressure tablets but its best to get their advice for your own health and peace of mind x

The right sided pain is an indication that you are definately pre eclamptic and may be moving into hellp syndrome. it affects the liver and can be very dangerous. They should draw some blood immediately and check you liver enzymes to make sure. Go in now- better to be safe than sorry. another good site to check out is www.preeclampsia.org they have a discussion forum as well and its all from ladies who have had the disease and the symptoms.
