Have I got a subchronic hematoma??

Well I had a bit of brown spotting two weeks ago- had a scan, fine but was re-scanned Tuesday to check baby is growing ok. Baby seems to be growing fine, but there was a black spot on the ultrasound not too close to the sac. The dr was slightly concerned and suggested I rest for 1-2 weeks but said she didn't want to scare me but just to be cautious. I haven't had any spotting since the scan and she said the spot was small only mm's- possibly caused by over exertion. Now I remember her writing a word that looked like hematoma on the scan not certain tho, does this sound like a hematoma??? I just want something to research tbh. Whatever it is do you think it'll go away?? I'm getting scanned in two weeks. Thanks in advance

Sounds like it honey, it may go away but you must take things easy till your scan, just my opinion as an ex SCH sufferer

i had a red bleed at 8 weeks followed by brown bleeding. The cause was a small area of bleed below the sac. they measusured it to be 6mm. it had nothing to do woith baby or sac or placenta or anything. I was told i would bleed agagin and then it would be gone. i wasnt even offered a follow up scan although had my 12 week scan. I did bleed once more and then at my 12 week scan it was gone.

Sounds like one hun, I had one which lasted from 7 - 15 weeks and I had spotting, bright red bleeding and passed a massive clot and then after I passed the clot it went completely!! The doctor explained that it was where a small piece of placenta hadn't implanted properly and it would prob heal itself but to take it easy!! I took it easy and now all is fine and I'm nearly 32 weeks!!

Rest up hun and fingers crossed when you go for your next scan it will have gone totally xx
