my sis was just diagnosed with MTHFR

Hi girls I have never posted in here as I have a relatively good pregnancy. My sister has been having health problems in the past. She had a blood clot on birth control and nearly killed her, she's had kidney stones and gallbladder infection and a whole bunch of things wrong in the past few years. She was on blood thinners and told not to ttc on them or she would miscarry. Her doctor wanted to do a blood test that had to be sent to another state (she is in america) and it took months to get the results as there was a mixup and then she had to give blood and have it re sent and she just got the results today. Turns out she has MTHFR and cannot get pregnant and if she does it would not even get to a bfp. She has been off birth control for so long that her doc said there is a possibility that a heavy period was a miscarriage for her at any point. (thanks doc for giving her that to worry about ) So now they have to see which form of this she has and if she could ever have a baby at all. If she could she would be extremely high risk. I dont know much about this as i have just heard of it today. Anyone know anything about it... any stories?? Thanks

here is a link that kinda explains it...
