OK so christening went ok. It was a little awkward, but there were so many other folks around I didn't speak to her for very long. She invited me round on Friday to her house (staying in again you see) to meet another girl who had a baby around the same time as me.
TBH I think there might be something in what you say, Yvanne. She does keep saying to me "I know how lonely it can be looking after children" and I'm always "eh?". I'm having the time of my life! We're out every day and socialising more than ever.
I wonder how I could bring the subject up to see if she is ok. Any suggestions?
